The cables look o.k, but the servo wheel where the cables clip onto looks to be about 180 degrees out.

I just took the wires off and left the Servo in there, the bike seems to run fine and after disconnecting the battery I don't have the warning light any more. I have no idea what it does but cannot find anywhere how to align the Servo to where it should be. The slip on and cat bypass I bought for the bike doesn't have anywhere to put the wires, so I assumed I can run the stock exhaust without the cables until I put it on this weekend.

Seems like the most pointless thing in the world lol...

You'll probably find while you been riding with the cables disconnected, the servo has clicked itself out of sync.

What does it do other than open a valve in the stock silencer? The bike runs no worse with out it, just seems so pointless to even have it on.

It regulates exhaust flow & back pressure and noise.

If you buy a third party exhaust they don't use it, so I don't get why it is needed for the stock exhaust.
