I looked at USA parts diagrams for both a ‘98 Zx6E (Zx600E) and a Zx6R (Zx600G) and neither have a fuel regulator. There is a fuel shut-off valve (petcock), a fuel filter and a fuel pump. No other components between the fuel tank and carbs.

Fuel pumps for carbed bikes should only be pushing 2-3, maybe 4, psi. The fuel needle valves should be able to shut the fuel off and dead-head the system if they’re working properly.

the carb fuel bowls were filthy but now its flooding and still coming out the fuel inlet pipes i think it needs new rubbers...all i really need to no now is the inlet for fuel the bottom line? or is it suppose to run threw the regulator
