Now I put the battery back in after it was fully charged. Tried to turn it on and now its not a constant buzzing its just 1 click. and then the gauges reset.

 

What does the battery voltage drop to when you attempt a start?

 

Is it in nuetral? Is the clutch engaged? Are the battery connections tight?

 

Id be willing to bet you simply have a battery that has failed. The buzzing is the soloniod rapidly cycling which they wll do if they dont have enough juice.

Replace it.

 

Dont have a voltage meter. Having a buddy drop it off in a short bit.

But why would the battery buzz constantly before I charge it then afterwards only click once when I try to start it?

 

The first time the batteries voltage was not adequate to maintain the magnetic field for the relay switch to stay close, but it was enough to make it oscillate. When you charged the battery it increased the voltage enough to keep the magnetic field intact to close the switch, but the battery still lacks the amps to drive the motor.

Battery is good but it was only at 50% and the bike wouldnt start off that. Charged it up and now it runs perfectly fine.
