yep, still have the receipt. I have to say it was a special sale last year. Hammerhead told me about signing up for their deals and sure enough they had the tire sale and I grabbed a pair even though i didn't need them yet.
All I did was bring my receipt to the store and they only charge $10 for mount and balance when you buy tires from them.
I'm still thinking 2011.:tard i had them mounted by CG in 2011.Good price but that ticket is from 08/2010

Try some Michelins. Everyone usually tries them first.
Then try other manufacturers: Pirelli, Dunlop, Metzeler
You will never know until you try the others. Sportbike tires are usually redesigned every 2 years or so with minor improvements. Even if you ride your bike only on the weekends, you will still put around 6 to 8,000 miles a year on the tires. So you will need 2 sets of tires for the 14 conservatively unless you drive like your 91 year old grandmother. i agree to watch for the sales. Ask for the manufacture date. You don't want tires that have been hiding on some shelf for 4 years.
