Hey guys I changed my rectifier bike was starting fine then stated weak starting the died on the highway one day all electric came back on low question is does my stator look burnt to you

I've seen alot worse but looks don't always tell the story. You can check the voltage on each of the three phases when the bike is running.

Looks questionable. I would replace it for piece of mind. That's me.

Multi meter would remove all doubt . $8 at harbor freight.
.5 ohms between all three leads iirc. Still with that discoloration I would replace or have it rewound unless all the riding is on the back 40.

On a long trip with my daughter to Las Vegas I had the regulator go bad on my FJ1100 in Bullhead City, AZ. With no replacement alternator anywhere near I wired in a 1970's Chrysler mechanical regulator and finished the trip. From then on I don't ride with aged or questionable charging components.
