2002 ZX-9r F1

Mileage: 4900. ~15% put on riding it home to Idaho.

Mods: ZG touring fairing, frame sliders, SuperTrapp exhaust, jet needle shimmed 0.8mm, carbs cleaned and synced.
Future mods: trim the rear fender to appease some restless 9R members and b/c it'll look more sporty. Possible rear hugger and H-brace mirror bar addition for better touring.

minor update

I trimmed off 4" from the rear fender and used a metal file to round off corners and even things up. Better!

Preliminary tune results are in. The bike runs dreamy just like my older E1, but with a little less mechanical noise. Both are scary fast with a nice boost to mid-range due to the jet needle shim. MPG figures are nearly identical too, consistently 50-54. 54 when I'm on my own enjoying the ride, closer to 50 on group rides or when the pace is not recommended.

It has been an honor having a ROTM here on ZXF. One that I'll always cherish.
