I used a paper clip and did the jumper mod. I ran my bike totally stock at the track and it was nosing over around 13500 rpms and over. I did the jumper mod before I went to the track and before I knew it it was on the rev limiter with much more power above say 13000 rpms to redline. So it does work.
I just used a wire splice on mine, worked fine. It only took about two minutes since I already had the seat off for the exhaust upgrade. Unfortunately I never really got on it much before I did the mod since I was still in the break in period.
