Power to weight ratio of a 2008 zx14, anyone have a solid number?

Number divided by number = answer.

So then take their official wet weight, and divide it by the official rwhp.

Power to weight ratio isn't typically something they list on the spec sheet.

A QUICK google search dug up the numbers your looking for. What the guys above were probably trying to get at is that it wasn't too hard to find the info and do the quick math for power/weight.

from this article:

http://www.motorcycle.com/manufacturer/kawasaki/2008-kawasaki-zx14-first-ride-69666.html

"In addition to more low-end and midrange power, Kawi claims to have whipped up three extra ponies up top, now a claimed 190 horsepower at the crankshaft. Peak torque of 113.5 ft-lbs is reached at 7500 rpm. Another 10 horses are gained with the benefit of ram-air induction at top speed, which is still electronically limited to 186 mph as per a gentlemen’s agreement among manufacturers."

and for weight: "the ZX’s claimed dry weight is up from 474 lbs to 485 lbs, a result of the heavier exhaust system. "

giving an answer of 2.55lbs per hp dry.

and from this test where they did wet weight:

http://www.motorcycle-usa.com/9/484/Motorcycle-Article/2008-Ninja-ZX-14-vs-Suzuki-Hayabusa.aspx

the 14 "at 528.7 lbs. Those numbers equate to tank-empty power-to-weight ratios of 0.3058 for the lighter Kawi."

and later on they weigh it with a full tank and get 563.5. so wet = 2.966. lbs per hp. or in their terms .337.
