Do our bikes come with a spare electrical wire for additional accessories? Or is the accessory fuse actually connected to something, like the instrument panel (accessory :rolleyes)?

The reason I ask is that I want to add (4A) heated hand grip panels and the instructions call for connecting the power side of this to the headlamp switched power lead. I really don't want to tie into that if I can avoid it. So I'm looking for alternatives from other Zixxrs.

On my D1 ZX11 its not connected to anything the fues is there just doesn't enter the loom.

On the D3 ZX11 it runs the clock. This runs a White / Blue wire.

Hope this helps

A blue and white where is what the manual's wiring diagram shows too. I wish I knew how to interpret the schematic, instead of just following the crumb trail (duh). But that's all good news then. If my bikes have a dedicated accessories circuit on it's own fuse, I'm using it!!

On my 95 zx9r there is an accessory power lead under the seat.
Thats how my 7 is. Two unused connectors, presumably fused also. Just chilling there near the rear brake fluid reservoir collecting corrosion.
