First off hi I'm new to the group. I have a 99 zx9r that I would like to change the fairings on it to 00-03 but dont know if it would fit properly. Can someone please help before I spend money and can't use them. THANKS!!!

well the only difference from what I know of (pretty positive) is the 00-03 the gauge bracket holds onto the 00/01 front fairing and 02/03 mirror/gauge bracket holds onto the front fairing 98-01 uses all the same fairings except the front and 02/03 uses different front and tail fairing..as you having the 99.. you would need the gauge bracket for 00-03..and possibly may need to drill holes in the bracket tab to align the front fairing with the sides..youl need the air intake plumbing from the newer model as it looks different on the 98/99.. this is my adivce and dont hold me responsible if something is incorrect..hope this helps
