I have an 89ZX10....the starter was not cranking when I hit the switch. I was able to get it to crank when I jumped the relay. Changed out the switch on the handlebars but still not working

Anyone have any suggestions to id the trouble?

hi,id have thought its the side stand switch,disconnect it and link the wires together.they are troublesome at best.great bikes tho.
