I recently got a steal on two bikes, an 89 zx10 and an 83 cb1100f in near mint condition for 3k. Both bikes hadn't been started in two years but ran great when they were parked. I cleaned out the carbs on both and the cb started right up, the zx10 not so much.
I have verified that fuel is getting to the carb and the floats are working, i also verified spark on all four plugs. when i try to start it it turns over fine but doesnt even sputter, when i choke it it will sputter but never fully start. Also after a little while trying to start it it will backfire.
I am looking for any ideas, i really like the zx10 and want to use it for my daily driver but it is being difficult. Thanks in advance

Also i just checked and it seems like the bowls of the carbs are filling up and the floats are shutting the fuel supply
