I have a 1989 Kawasaki ninja 600r and i believe the service manual is giving me incorrect info for my bike, can someone please tell me the fork oil capacity after disassembly and completely dry and when changing oil.

The amount of oil in a fork leg is measured by the level of the oil with the leg compressed, the spring out and the damping rod purged of air. Not sure what the level is for your machine, but for mine, it's 88mm + or - 2mm from the top of the tube with, as mentioned, the spring out, the damping rod purged of air and the leg compressed.

Thanks a bunch for the replies I appreciate it. In the end, I'm going to leave the forks with the amount of oil the book was calling out for which was 321 + or - 4ml just because the bike feels good not low or too stiff.
