I wish my 500 would get that good gas mileage. I borrowed my girl's 250 Ninja and pull into a gas station at 200 miles to fill back up. After doing the math I managed to get 69 miles to the gallon running on curvy back roads! The little 250 is definitely as economical as it is fun.

I heard Cycle World got 74mpg from a Ninja 250 a few months ago.

What kind of mileage do you guys/girls get with your bikes?

I was averaging about 60mpg (about 50 miles per US gallon - our gallons are bigger in the UK) with mixed riding on the 500. The best I ever had was 75mpg (60 per US gall) when I was running in before I started giving it big throttle openings.

The 1100 seems around 45mpg (37 in US gall).

Just happened to do the math for this tonight. I'm getting about 36mpg right now. $12 for 3.66 gallons of gas, 132.7 miles showing on the trip. Hopefully it gets better as the bike continues to break in but not a big deal if not, I love to ride this bike :)

34-36

ZX-14, 34-36 mpg during normal to moderatly fast riding (no 150+) but my instant fuel milage reading on the computer says 36 mpg @ 70 mph and 41 MPG @ 90 mph! perhaps droping a tooth on the counter sprocket would help the milage?! The 34-36 range is from fuel usage/milage not computer.
