hi guys, i got a 2009 zx6r just recently and noticed that after i give it a little throttle the rpm drops below the idle like it wants to stall but doesnt. then slowly climbs back up, only happens when reving at idle, no dramas when riding around. any ideas? i have uploaded a clip on youtube - https://youtu.be/OexwFc5T04A

It sounds like you have an aftermarket pipe on it. This is usually a lean condition. If it's tuned properly check for vacuum leaks.

Ok thank you. There does seem to be an exhaust leak. Would you happen to know the size or where I could get new gasket where the link pipe joins? Thanks in advance.

thanks for the link.
bike idles on cold just under 2k then when warms up drops to 1.5k. It has a m4 slip on and no tune, as said earlier most likely be running lean? just want to confirm.
I have the same setup (M4 GP, and no tune), except I also have block off plates installed. Try adjusting your idle speed up to around 1,600 - 1,800 RPM's once the bike is fully warmed up.
