The bike has 11,000 km. and has run very well. Stored in a pool shed every winter with the battery removed and stored indoors. The battery was "trickle-charged" every 30 days for 24hrs at a 2 amp charge. All the battery cells top with distilled water every fall. Never had a problem with the bike. Last fall we had the back tire removed and replaced by the Kawasaki Dealership in Guelph,Ontario.
Put the battery back in the bike two weeks ago and all we heard was the bike trying to turn over AND a clicking sound coming from near the starter relay(page 116-Owners Manual). Replaced the starter relay - nothing changed. Tried jumper cables from the car thinking maybe the battery is not providing the cranking power - nothing changed. Checked the side stand kill switch for proper connection - O.K. Checked the fuses found in the fuse box above the battery(page 115 - Owners manual) - all good.
Anyone out there ever experience a similiar problem with the same symptoms?Max

Thats kind of a tough one. Have you got a clean, tight connection between your battery negative post and the bikes frame? Don't mistake tight for good. You'll have to take it off yo make sure. Otherwise I don't know, maybe your starters gone bad? Sorry I don't have more ideas.
