So....
How do I adjust the rear preload?
Owners manual says to take it to the dealer, but theres no f***in way Im paying a dealer to make a simple adjustment.
Is there any recommended tools or procedures for doing this?

Thanks

the other question I have is
Do I want my spring compressed more if Im 230 lb than the standard setting?
If Im reading the manual correctly, more load requires more preload, but the stock setting is for 150 lb rider and no accessories at about 7 in of spring length, which is at the firm end of adjustment. So...

"C" spanners you can get from the bike shop or from some automotive accessory places. They just need to be thin enough.

Also in Mechanical/Technical right at the top there's a section on suspension set up.

I was lucky. I only weigh about 150lb with gear on.

to set your preload properly, you need to measure your free sag ( suspension fully extended with no weight on it) , and the sag with only the bikes weight on the suspension, then measure the sag with you and your gear on the bike, ... sag should be about 30mm or so maybe more for street....
