So, today turned out like it this day does every year... Once over on the bike for the start of the season... and prep for upgrades.

1. Bled brakes ( Nasty crap came out, works 100 times better )
2. Stripped tail section off to allow removal of exhaust cans
3. removed foot pegs, rear and front
4. Attempted to remove plate covering lower part of exhaust, all bolts were cheap as shit... stripped heads on all of them ( using craftsman hex keys ) so it wasnt cheap tools, just cheap bolts... them attempted to use extractors... that didnt work... drilled out heads to get plate off.... made the decision to drill out old stuck bolts, tap, and put new bolts in


Buddy of mine had 2 07's that had the same issue and had to drill and tap the holes again... Anyone have a similar issue?

Yup!!!! Bolts that have been in the same place for a long time tend to want to stay there.:squint
