Hello im new to this site so I hope your all well. Ive just a question about sprockets has any body changed theres as im looking in to doing mine for better acceleration, some people have said change the rear sprocket and some say change the front by one tooth but these are people how have never owned a ninja.
Does anyone know which is best and how many teeth I would need to change to I still have the standard chain fitted and do not want to change that at the minute your help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Kind Regards

if you want to use the stock chain go one down in the front. it is the proper way to get better acceleration. just make sure the sprocket you order is the same pitch as the ones currently on the bike( ie. 520 525 530).

sorry i was of something else its not the pitch that is different it is the width of the chain.
measure the width of the rollers between the side plates.
520 is 1/4"
525 is 5/16"
530 is 3/8"
