I need to replace my valve cam gasket. Is there any advise on how to make this process easier? Will the valve cam cover fit between the frame? if not do I have to drop the fron of the motor to get it out. I havent looked at it lately as I am out of the country but I am going to get to work on this as soon as I get home. The last time I looked it looks like a very close fit between the frame and the cam cover.

The 14 manual doesn't say anything about dropping the motor to get the cylinder head cover off and they are very similar to the 12R. But there is a Japanese-English translation fuckup at the end of the procedure that says. "Remove the cylinder head cover cover to backward floating if a little up" Shop manuals are full of these little gems and I'm sure it's not difficult to figure out. Probably means to lift the cover up slightly and move it towards the back of the motor to be able to slide it out from under the frame/airbox.
