I have to sit on my bike with the kickstand up and holding in the clutch in order to start it up. The neutral light does not come on. I'm assuming the bike thinks its still in gear even though it's in neutral. I can put it in neutral with no problem, the indicator just won't come on. Any ideas how I can fix this? Thanks everyone. Ride safe

The signal wire is broken or disconnected.

I did it fellow bikers!!!!! Hahaha!!!! I took off the gas tank and took a look at the wiring. The wiring was backwards at the connectors. Green and black wires werent correctly lined up(green was plug into black). So I switched it around even though the colors don't match, it works now
