Bought a 97 zx7r I saw on OfferUp 09/04/2017 in non running condition for $675 in Indianapolis as my first bike. It sat at a "mechanic's" place dismantled for seven months with no progress period smh. Tired of running into irresponsible people these days. I decided to sell early 04/2018 but the guy who was going to buy backed out, typical. Putting the bike back together rekindled my interest, now I'm on a quest to finally get it running and looking better than ever. We'll see if the new mechanic can make progress.

There have been a lot of repairs and upgrades to the bike. Probably about $1K in parts and labor. New double bubble windscreen, mirrors, levers, grips, zxr engraved bar ends, 520 conversion, front and rear wheel bearings, front and
rear brakes, extended swingarm and rear brake line, replacement stator cover, left side faring, rear set, spark plugs and wires, gas tank, undertail kit, and recovered seats. I'm sure that I forgot something...
