Carb jetting

Hi new to the forum I'm having some issues with my 1999 7r I've done the clean air mod as in removed all the junk bits and between 4000 and 6000 rpm in 2nd 3rd and I think 4th it feels like it's not getting enough fuel feels hesitant I think this is down to the jets and needles being standard can anyone recommend what good to use and what hight the needles need to be as I've read you can use #4 washers under them but I'm not to sure so some help on this would be brilliant many thanks
Vic
