I have an oil leak. It only happens when I start the engine. It comes down on the left side, near the sprocket. When I shut off the engine, it completely stops. When started it steady drips. Trying to figure out where it is coming from. Any ideas?
Clutch pushrod seal. Very common. Remove slave cylinder and housing and you will find it hanging out on the pushrod. They fall out when old and dry. Buy new seal, drive it in and get back to riding. Easy job.
Yes. I pulled it off and it was on the rod. And yes, it sprayed on my back tire like crazy. While I was putting it back together my slave cylinder cracked as I was bleeding. I want to order a new cylinder but they want $120. I saw used cylinders but I'm not sure about buying a used one.
You can make a spacer and put it in ensuring the seal will never pop out again✅
