WTB: J/K Windscreen & Fuel Pump Relay

Hello!

I am after a fuel pump relay to fit a 7. I believe any model will work. Looking for something previously working/ tested as I have 3 of them here that do not work.

Also looking for a windscreen (stock preferred) for a J/k model. Looking for very good shape.

If anyone has some fork caps (just the caps) that fit a J/K and are in very good shape I may be interested too. Looking for no marring as the ones I have were scared up a bit by a PO.

Are you sure it is the fuel pump relay? I have so seldom seen those fail. Does the bike start?

Yes it is the relay. It has already been diagnosed. There is an easy test procedure to boot. You must have a good one to spare if they do not fail then correct?

So Evan, you after the J (43mm) or the K (41mm) caps mate?

Ah, they are different sizes eh? In that case I suspect I am going to have a harder time finding them as I need the K caps...

Why did Kawasaki choose a more narrow tube for the K forks?

Yes, definitely different, but actually easier to find than J caps... Well not really as I have a set that might have worked for you I could pull from a wreck set of J boingers.

The fully adjustable 41's on the K were done for less weight, but the good news for you here is that any L (or M) set of caps are also: 41's!

A set of L caps should be turning up on Ebay anytime. Maybe someone on the forum has a spare set now?

My pleas. Also, you could actually just get a set of L forks that are cleaner than yours, take the K and L sets apart, and build withthe nicest tubes and caps in the set.

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but you could then use the rebound adjuster equipped lower legs from your K and all should be good. Presto- clean "K" forks.
