Yes! and Yes!
[QUOTE=ccmhunt;4072414]Lol... Scott Russell never rode a 7RR, Eric Bostrom didn't ride for Muzzy (rode a KHI /KRT bike), compression ratio isn't higher.... Lots of lolz there
Hey Chris! Yep, always good for a laugh over there. Facts just a' flowin' be they true or false!
I stopped trying to talk any sense into those "aficionados" after trying (unsuccessfully I might add) to explain why exactly a Honda NR750 was special and kind of a big deal- You know, besides oval pistons, the 32 valves, 8 conrods, etc that went into a freakin '92 bike... not to mention styling the I-ties cribbed shamelessly to pen the 916 but hey, as they whined "it never won a world championship" so why would anyone want that? Tools.
It can accompany the corrosion I wouldn't expect unless the bike spent a bunch of time outside. See brake master.
Yeah, their other sport is claiming wild bullshit regarding authenticity and provenance of their featured bikes. Little things like "Special Edition" CBR900's that never existed with "only 3,700 miles" asking insane money that have obviously been race bikes returned to street use, "pristine" Japanese imports from their buddy that somehow have parts from different years, etc. Good fun.
Airbox is the same as standard just different holes for the flatslide carbs.
NO MAN! Didntcha see they say CARBON!!! That is why there should be breathalyzers mandatory on keyboards. I'd like to know what parts fiche they're smokin'...
