A matter of opinion

Sup people! So I think I'm finally ready to step up into 6, been riding an ex 500, finally gettin' some cash coming in again, and think it be nice to be able to keep up with my dad a bit easier, lol, So I've been lookin around and seen some pretty nice stuff, so my question is:

In your expert opinions,
How do y'all like the 2000-03 636's?
vs
05 636's?

both are freakin' sweet bikes, and I'd love to have either, just curious about your likes/dislikes about em.

And as always thanks in advance!

your thinking of the 2000-2002 zx6r

the 2003 was the first time they used fuel injection.

and i actualy like the body style on the 03-04 zx6r the best.
its one sweet bike

in 2002 they did produce a 636 however, it was in the latter of the year, but I would go with the 03 or newer, I like the fuel injection better than the carbed bikes, but thats just me,

FI is the way to go if you ask me. I hated having to deal with tuning carbs every year. I'm a little biased towards the 05-06.

I like both years, the average rider will probably not be able to take advantage of the little tweaks that the 05 has over the 03 and 04. I truly think you can't go wrong with either bike. They run strong and they are both reliable. The main decision maker will be what style you like better. The 05 looks cleaner with the newer swing arm set up and under tail exhaust and it also has a slipper clutch. But I prefer the looks of the 04, so I would just go with what you think looks better to you. The 05 makes a little more power also which doesn't hurt. I have found there are some parts that are easier to find for the 05 and 06 then the 04 and 03's also.
