By passing the Exhaust valve

I thought I read on this forum how to stop the FI light flashing after you remove the exhaust valve sytem. I did a search and couldn't find anything.
I can just remove the wires and leave the box connected but I want the space for the ECU. Surely guys that race just remove the whole thing....right?

Pete.

In the event you have a 05-06 here is a link to a pdf from Arata that will show you which ECU wire you need to remove.

Here is a link for all the pdf files for their systems, you may be able to find the info for other years in here.

so that just cuts the power to the fi light completely? is the fi light there for any other reasons though?
seems like a bad idea to me.
