Flies out + slip-ons; Are any of the standard PCIII maps any good?

Hey. I have done some reading through here and read that custom dyno maps and FAIC maps are fantastic for bolstering the bottom end power once the flies are gone on an '07 zx14.

I have just ordered my PC3 and am waiting for it to arrive. Just wondering if anyone has had good results from the stock maps that dynojet provide? Or whether there are any that are no good at all and to avoid? I see on their site that there are a few flies-out options there..

I accept that ultimately best performance will come from getting my individual bike tuned up, but I can't afford that right now and just want to do the best with the options that are there.

(running stock air filter and two bros carbon slip ons by the way)

Cheers
Ben

Cool. I read all the brocks pages and he recons there is a lean patch at low revs that needs adjusting. Apparently the muzzy flies out (from reading on here) doesn't change this area at all.

Is there a way of telling whethr the map you are using has added anything to the 3000-5000 zone?

Havn't used PC3 before. Guess I find out once I install it..

I'm running the muzzy/flies out map. it does run a bit rich, thinking of tweaking it a little bit.
