George Foreman Grill Alternative Design

There are folks out there who don't care for the "foreman grills" on their bikes.

Here's a design I hacked together (ignore the horrid quality of the photoshopping)

What say you?

hmm. I don't like the grills look either. And you're on the right track. But that looks similar to most of other liters and 600s. The 14 needs something of it's own.

You're on the right track though

A friend with a metallic green 14 highlighted the black grilles by match-painting the "louvers". Taste is a matter of taste, but as long as you like what you do to your own, who cares what anyone else thinks?

this is what i did with mine, i thought they turned out pretty good. also smoothed out dash panels and cleared complete with midnight blue paint code. i agree they definitely need some modifications from factory.

That's how my friend with the green bike did his. I kinda like it, compared to plain flat black.

I like it but the lines IMO dont go with the rest of the bike.

I was 50 50 on the GFG so i slapped some smoothies on and i like the way it looks at the moment.

First version with blue fins and valleys back in 07

second version got 07 SE version panels from a member here a couple years ago and did the fins and valleys blue also

Next idea is to do the new ones in all blue and have the fins and valleys in chrome that was the original goal when I picked up the third set of fins but starting liking the red and blue??
