LF: 94 Zx11 exhaust upgrade
 

Hi, new here been reading alot thanks everybody! im looking for muzzys or v&h or something nice sounding like that will fit my zx11 or else i'll buy one off ebay. So if anybody have one laying in their garage let me know!

There is also alternate Plan B.

Buy a ZZ-R1200 header off of eBay... its stainless steel and can handle dual slip-ons... direct bolt on, no modification.

Then shop for mufflers.... Im still saving up for the Holeshots, already have the header....

Then you can still maintain the balanced appearance, wont have the dorky nekkid look on one side, still reduce weight, and get more HP to boot....

That is a nice looking header, I have been wanting to replace my muzzy and I really like the dual muffler look. Thanks for the post Blaine.

Yeah Claude told me to get a zzr1200 exhaust so I can put slip ons but i'm still trying to find. I've looked on ebay for headers, none! :banghead :banghead It's dead season soon anyways so I guess I have plenty of time to look for.

Is there any other sites I could find?

I was fortunate that somebody here on the board had one, so I jumped on it....

I have the D&D. It's a little loud for me, but I pack it with steel wool and it has a very unique sound.

Plus, the can is on the left which freaks people out.:headscratch

i might sell the muzzy off my bike. it has a ti canister on it. i also have a murry pipe, that would not be cheap since i only know of 3 of them.

Just wondering what muffler choice you went with. I am asking because Hndle has a clearance on and an entire full system in stainless the cheapest version is 575cnd + tax shipped free which is a killer deal, also the clearance is left hand exit which I am fine with, just don't know if I can do cheaper with some mufflers keeping the symetrical look


The idea of a ZZR1200 and adding something like ZZR1200 13" Stainless Delkevic Tri-Oval Muffler Exhaust Slip On 02 03 04 05 to the factory ZZR1200 header is also a great idea

any reason you posted the link when thats in pound currency and appears sold out. The Hindle full system on clearance or the ZZR 1200 header w an aftermarket slip on option seems much more appealing cost wise and is obtainable.

Look up Dale Walker Holeshot ZZR1200 out of Nevada. I just received a set of custom made stainless cans to swap out on my 94 ZX11D, and purchased a near new ZZR1200 header and some gaskets off ebay for 75 bucks plus shipping, 125.00 total.

Contact Dave at Holeshot via email, and ask if the sale price is still good. $525 for two stainless streetcore cans!!!

According to multiple posts from years gone by, the ZZR1200 header is a bolt on mod, no issues.

I also have a muzzy full Ti Exhaust NOS, never been mounted. I'm on the fence as to which one will benifit my weekend warrior canyon rides and daily driving commutes.

$1399.00 for the Muzzy full Titanium header, pipe, and can. Incredibly light and left side exit, pretty sure it is the best option!

Good info & great pics, bikes looks awesome, I have the same forest green and am just debating on a new exhaust, full system or ZZR1200 option with cans. My stock exhaust is pretty good shape overall
