This is the voting thread.

The winner of this poll will be placed into the Ride of The Year voting thread which will open December 1st of each year. The ROTY Champion will be awarded a zxforums.com ROTY Champion personalized t-shirt.

I will update the poll as entries are accepted in the entry thread.(click here for entry thread.)

Deadline for entries is 11:59pm (eastern time) on the 15th of the month.

After the deadline has passed, I will edit this thread so that the entries will be contained here in the voting thread to make voting quick and easy.

Back story...
I was really looking to buy a '14 Connie but after seeing this one in person and also the dealer price, I couldn't pass it up. My ultimate dream bike was always the Busa ever since it came out. I was straight up looking for speed and with hopes to drag race the bike. But when I saw the 14 at the dragstrip, I knew this was the bike for me. So here I am, got a sweet bike that is mad fun to ride and will get to the track next season since it's still a baby on odometer

Modifications:
Two Brothers VALE2 Carbon Fiber slip ons
Zero Gravity double bubble dark windscreen
Brocks Performance clutch mod
Schnitz Racing tether kill switch
Front lowering straps
Red heel guards
Red rear pegs
Red rear exhaust brackets
Customized Bike Parts red tail delete

I think the bummer about this is that it's pretty much the same people voting month to month.

With all the members this website has and with only 16 votes, maybe the ROTM needs a little more publicity. I know the winner from last month and even the month before is on the home page. Maybe adding the voting there as well or a sticky where most people go?

Just spitballin but would be good to get more diverse entries and voters on a monthly basis.

Thats a good idea about the homepage. The only issue is that it would bump down the winners and get bumped down by news posts. Perhaps we can try it out next month.
I've been trying to think of ways to get more people involved but it hasn't been very effective.

ROTM is on the homepage.
Not sure why more people don't vote. A lot of other sites show who voted and we don't do that here.
I heard Blue was going to give a dollar to everyone that voted.
But i don't think anyone wants canadian money.

I believe I can change the section to show who voted but I don't think that will do anything to help gain more votes...

I think our site is very "sectioned" meaning people only go into their own sections to look at new posts there. They don't actually go into the new post or active post sections of the website to see the ROTM to vote on it.

no, don't show who voted.
I was saying it's better to not show.
92 would get pissy if he saw i voted for someone else.

I was thinking the same thing.
Thats why I never did it.
There is already enough fuel for bickering on the site as it is

How about everyone gets a mass PM mailing with the link?

I only see it on the Homepage as recent discussions but I was thinking like a smaller heading with some thumbnails of the bikes and the links to the voting section.

Just some thoughts

Some members like to keep their PMs private.
I don't want to interfere with their personal space.
The voting thread has had almost 700 views.

Maybe some of the members can say why they don't vote and we can change something.
