Hammerhead I dropped the yokes a bit on the Blue Whale and it made it somewhat easier to turn. Doesn't take much to have a positive effect. A big drop could be dangerous, but there's a reason the factories don't lock the fork tubes in one place.

Sometimes an accompanying softening of the rear preload (or a drop in the rear ride height if you have that option) can prevent the front end drop from adding too much weight transfer under braking. When you change one thing, you change everything.

Lowered front end.

Lowered tye front about 10mm and it really cganged how well the bike dives in. And I like the stance
