If you got more then one bike its even better since its not a piggy back system like the power commanders. Can take it off one bike, install it on another to tune both. Has shows me any fault codes and able to clear them if any come up.

Yeah, I just looked on the other forum. $50 shipped.
I would buy the Woolich setup, but it is so price prohibitive on initial purchase. I just don't know if I would use it enough.

Did you get any header bracket spacers for your ZX10R header? I have sold a few sets and cannot remember if you were one that bought some. I have a big pile of them if you need.
On another note, I am pushing on vcyclenut to do a tune with the ZX10R header for us. His flash is only a few hundred bucks, way cheaper than getting the kit from Woolich. There are quite a few good reviews on his ability to tune.

|57x||If you need a mid-pipe, I bought a Delkavic mid that I am now not planning on using. It is made for a 2" can. PM me if you are interested.|

|57x||I don't get all the bad comments on the seat. I also have an SE. I jumped on it when I first got it and put down around 1000 miles, followed a few weeks later with a 3000 mile ride. I had three 600 mile days on my trips with no complaints on the seat. The only complaint I have is the seat is too low, cramping your legs. I bought lowering pegs which helped a ton. I am planning to mod my seat to raise it up around an inch so I can get pegs that don't have a risk of scraping.|

Can you shed any light on a steering damper that they offer for 2019?

Love the bike, got a quote on another 14R, just didn't want MY 14R due to the amount of issues it gave me in such a short period. Fingers crossed that my VA claim reassessment goes through and I get another pay out and can pay the SX/SE off. My buddy is in the exact same situation as you though, has a 2013 ZX10R that still has ~4500 owing on it. He wasn't getting what he wanted for trade in value so he decided to sell it privately. Still hasn't sold and he bought a new bike. So monthly payments on his 10R which he doesn't ride anymore and his new bobber.
As for comparison. Its a toss up really. Some points are better with the 14R and some are better on the SX/SE.
Comfort - 14R's seat and body position was better. #1 complaint people have of the SX/SE is the seat. It gets extremely uncomfortable after about 40mins a riding.
Power - It's a toss up, 14R has more hp on paper but with the SX/SE being roughly 30lbs lighter, I cant tell the difference stock for stock. That being said the 14R does have more torque and you do notice the loss of that on the SX/SE
Handling- Toss up really. Both are big bikes and ment more for touring/straight line.
Gizmo's - Hands down this goes to the SX/SE. The main feature that drew me into this bike was cruise control. Easy to use and works just like a car. I set it and take both hands off the handlebars a lot to stretch my back out. First day I got the bike I rode 4kms with no hands. Cops got next to me and signaled me to put them back on lol. Heated grips have 3 settings which is good. The TFT display is cool, few things I would change in it if I could. Lean lights are also a cool feature. Not a lot of pitch black areas where I live with enough of a turn to trigger them all but I do notice them come on in the city at night as well.
I guess its the inner ricer in me but I love the sound of the supercharger. I cant get enough of it.

|wellcraft||Thanks for sharing and it looks like you have some interesting mods planned. What benefit do you get from switching to ZX10 headers over the stock H2SXSE headers? I'm thinking of trading in my 2017 ZX14R SE for a H2SXSE but haven't pulled the trigger yet since I still have payments left on my 2018 BMW R12GS. I really don't want to bike payments so I'll wait until the GS is paid off before making a move. I'd be interested in hearing your opinions on the H2SX compared to your ZX14R.|

|Snakes709||Suppose i do haha. Fuck i cant wait until the winter is over. With the mods and a good tune i should see 230whp no problem. Thats about 60whp increase. Scares me alittle.|

|JBear||I'd rather take that bike for a ride than a tank too. Time to change your sig and some personal details Snakes!|

My H2 SX/SE
Havent posted in awhile. Traded my ZX14R in for a new 2018 H2 SX/SE this summer. Was really getting annoyed with hearing fucked up sounds from the 14R and the dealership saying "its normal, your new motor is breaking in" Ended up going to a different dealership and got a good deal on a "demo" SX/SE, reduced price ($4000) with 0kms on it. Although my bad luck hasn't changed at all. Got the bike and hit 1000kms on it. Dropped it off at the dealership for them to do the first service on it. Normally I do it myself but wanted a good fresh start. They claimed the inspected and adjusted the chain, whether they did or not iiunno. Picked it up and put another 40kms on it to ride home and when I got home the chain was loose as fuck. Bought the adjustor tool and did it myself. Someone both pinch bolts to the hub cross threaded as I loosened it. Couldn't move them so loaded the bike on the truck and went back to the dealership. 5 weeks later got a whole new swing arm and hub assembly covered under warranty.
Now its winter and the fun begins. Ripping it down to do the following.
Gen4 ZX10R header conversion
Yoshimura Alpha Exhaust
Sprint P08 or maybe the F1 air filter
Block off plates
Woolich auto tune
powerbronze double buddle windscreen.
Will do a auto tune at first to see what it can do and then maybe a dyno tune. Never really had power goals before but would like to see 230whp which is what a unrestricted H2 makes.
