Hi Gent hope someone can help me here is my problem

I have a 1988 Kawasaki zx10 tomcat when you start it it makes a click sound and that is it when you use a screw driver on the regulator the motor turns over very easily.

i thought it might be the starter took that out and sent it in to a starter place they reckoned the hole thing still the same problem.

So i replaced the regulator still the same problem.

I tried to start it with the clutch in same problem

Tried it with the stand in and out same story only makes a clicking sound.

So what can be the problem where do i start looking.

It could be bad a relay or a battery that won't hold enough of a charge.

thanks for the replay i found the fault the new regulator that i bought is faulty. i had to bay a new one and now my problem is solved.
