Dead Connie forum

Wow, this is one dead forum

I went over the the COG website and joined, but not impressed.

Guess Google is the way to go.

Cheers.

I feel all warm inside now!

Been searching Google for tidbits for my new Connie, seems to be the best way.

Still will visit here on the ZX14 side of the house.

PS: Gary on his new ZX14 and I on my new Concors14 head out tomorrow for a nice ride. I still need to break mine in, only have 350 miles on it.

That was last years post, yes a bit lonely but since then I have installed risers, GPS, radar, MC Eng crash bars, new top case with matching painted panel. Stongard, new seat blah blah blah!!!
Changed the oil 2 times and the rear differential too. Have 2K miles on her. Going to CA for 5 days in May! Going back to CA highways 96/36/3/299. Most likely hitting the 22 mile hwy into Willits CA. That road is super awesome.

Crossing two states just for some good roads? Why don't you just move there. It'll cut out 600 miles of boredom.

Alright! Trading bikes for a while was fun.I'm ready for mine back. No, seriously, get off my bike. Ahh, what a privilege it is to have such a sweet ride.

I have taken eastern WA to eastern OR to CA a few times which is quite fun. This will be annual trip #3 and we trailer down now to Ashland and that's our takeoff point and return point for the 3 days of riding down there. Yes riding on the slab from Tacoma to Ashland both ways sucked.
We arrived in Ashland, 2013.

Use Google maps, find Redbluff CA. Look for hwy 36, its 140 miles of corners all the way to the coast. Look for hwy 3, 299 and 96 after just crossing the CA border heading south. Thats why we cross 2 states. In July we head East to Post Falls ID, Lolo Pass, and hwy 12 that heads south west. Look at that one!

Take some video if you have the wherewithal. I'm excited for you and hope you have a blast. Sounds like the trek will really be worth it. Those roads don't look very straight. Should be a hoot!

Yeah well I thought we bought this bike to take the long road. 600 miles is easy peasy!

I have done even Schotland with 'my' press Connie. Most 1400GTR riders like more to drive than to write, I presume...

PS: There are not as many 1400GTR drivers, but you do not find cheap 1400GTR on secondhand websites... I was searching for damages right cases and a mirror, and have to order then with Kawa itself, I fear.

Hell of a bike. And heaven of a bike the same time.

Just like myself!

Use google/translate to translate some of my websites I sometimes refer to (http://logocom.be/moto/1400gtr)

When I step backwards, it's because I am preparing to jump.
