if you can afford them, buy them. They are the lower half of the vertigo corsa air, one of the best boots out there.

full length is better for safety. You can wear some pantlegs outside the hitop boots, but not all. If you're wearing riding pants w/knee pucks either leather or fabric, go with the hitops. If you ride with primarily jeans, go with the low tops. You will have to have the hi tops when you go to the track, (at many tracks).

They are a little too...uhhh...plastic-y for me. Kinda look like robot shoes. I prefer something that looks a little more like a regular shoe.

I don't wear the hitops that often.

I wear these Sidi Scorpion Airs almost all the time.
they're extremely lite, very comfy, and they have a lot of protection. I have tested them thoroughly unfortunately. They cost about 70.00 less than the streetburners also.

I have those same Scorpions and I wont be buying them again. They're not very tough. I wore through the toe on my very first ride.

You must be dragging toe a lot. I've lowsided twice with these. they're scuffed up a lot I admit. I have about 6,000 miles on them. This is my 2nd pair.

I was looking at getting these but I found the Alpinestars One-O-One shoes had a little better ankle support for me. I found the Alpinestars to be a little more comfortable when to walk in.

I would check them out!

I did end up ordering the full vertigo air boot, hope to get them this week.

Nice , but the J Rocket Street pro would be my choice, suckers are comfortable and great with their sizing.
