Zx14-r exhaust

Just bought a new 2019 zx14r, have been looking at exhaust and my cousins keep telling me to Akrapovic full exhaust, others say SC PROJEKT but they do not have exhaust for the zx14, any suggestions or pros cons of certain exhaust?

Arata full exhaust.

Top notch, priced low for what it is compared to Akrapovic

Ivan tested them all and found the Akrapovic making the most power with his flash. If you are ok with a single can (the Akra for the earlier ZX14), he said both worked the same on the 14R and it's way cheaper. Here is one. I know there are cheaper options than FleaBay.

Noise will be a factor.
I got a 2007, the factory exhaust is quiet and not bulbous like recent models.
Wanted to go Hindle 4-1, but got a slightly used Tsukigi 4-1 for half that
Spent $20 inserting a baffle to tone down the volume.
At highway speeds not an issue, in town short shift low revs manages the hooligan sound.
Chopped off 25-30 lbs over stock pipes.

Brock’s? That is what mine had when I bought it... (2014) mine gets a lot of attention and sounds awesome (with ear plugs)

I personally love the sound of the Yoshimura full exhaust, bought my 06 636 and the original owner installed it with shortened length under tail. Looks and sounds amazing!

Don’t sleep on the Arata system. I bet it makes just as much power as Akrapovic.

Light weight beautifully welded titanium at almost 1/2 the price. Sounds perfect.

I just bought a 2012 (yesterday in fact) and ive spent a number of hours researching exhaust for it over the past few weeks. Of the direct comparisons i was able 2 find it looks like akrapovic is the best bottom to top. With a tune of course. Brocks alienhead 2 was very close other than a slight dip in the midrange. Here is that particular comparison.

+ 1 for the Arata. I have one on my 2016 and actually rode to Ivans a couple of months ago for a flash. He told it was comparable to the Akrapovic he has on his 2012 as far as power and quality with probably a 2 hp difference at most. They are now marketed under the Striker brand out of Japan. Any year ZX14 will fit. Got mine last year from this website.

EBay has a brand new system on sale now for 1k shipped.

The welds on Arata are the nicest I have seen. On par with TSR and Beet. I have owned all brands.
