Hello peoples I have a 2015 zx10r. And I was wondering if dropping the height about a inch will really change how she rides? Iv read that dropping the height isn’t recommended. I’ve put 25k on her how it is but would like to be closer to flat foot
Don't lower a 10. You will hurt the handling. The initial movement start is bad enough on the 11-15 ZX10R, and lowering it will make it worse. The rear will feel like a brick.
I wasn’t doing it for looks I was considering it cuz I’m on tip toes. But like I said I’ve been riding like that forever just wanted to be more flat foot. Thanks guys for your input
Depends where you are and what you do with it. Here in South FL theres no curves or hills. Just flat straights. People mostly drag race or do top speed. Plenty of lowered ZX10Rs. I had a stock '07 in south California and it handled great. Now I'm on a lowered and stretched ZX12R but I bought it like this so couldn't tell you the difference. It still turns great though. I can out lean and out handle my buddy on an '05 636. But he doesn't have the experience I got from California so that's not saying much.
