Dainese Air frame jacket

Just made my trip to the las vegas cycle gear. And I thought boats were money pits.
Wanted a new summer mesh jacket. My blue Frank Thomas jacket was getting old and of course didn't match the new bike.
I tried on all kinds of jackets and all kinds of price ranges.
The Dainese Air Frame jacket fit like a glove. You'll pay for it in the price but I think it will last for years.
Plenty of mesh to keep air flow moving and also has an inner liner.
Updated review when I get to use it.

Only negative,
there's no back protector.
Not even a piece of foam.
You would think for $270 there would be something there in the spot they made for one.

Mine did not either. I also have am $800 Dainese leather jacket that came with a back protector, so I move it as the seasons change.

Fortunately, the $800 jacket was on closeout at cycle gear for $300.

I heard Dainese is strict on their pricing and my internet search confirmed that as well as Cycle gear.
I had a hard time spending that money when there were Alpinestars leather jackets for less than $270 on closeout.
Surprised you got that jacket at a discount

That bites, luckily it's only another 100$ for a good spine protector

That's how i bought my jacket and pants. Both were still selling online (through Cyclegear for over $400 a piece) but i snagged them for $110 and $150.

The guy told me when they get returns from online sales that the items constantly drop in price over time. When he rung the pants up they had actually dropped another ten bucks less than what was on the tag.

The cycle gear near me is the largest in the nation. They send all the closeouts from other stores to this one if they do not sell quick at the other stores.

I have a set of Dainese full leathers that were $1200 retail. I bought them for $500. I also got another textile Dainese jacket that is not nearly so ventilated. I got it for $130.
