57x,

Hold off on an exhaust for now. Vandemon has a Titanium system being released in the not to distant future. I'll get you into one if you're interested and I'll see to it that you're the first in the USA with one.

That's what I like about you, Turbo. Instead of looking to external factors you consistently look to yourself to provide the improvements first.

"I can't corner the way I want to, I'll improve that."

"My bike feels heavy, I'll lose weight."

In a day and age where everyone's playing the blame game and looking for excuses it's refreshing to see a little discipline, determination, and self-efficacy.

I am going to play with my own Ti pipe until this is available. The 2011 ZX10R header is Ti. I bought a header, I am making a Ti mid pipe and already have a Ti can. I cannot imagine theirs will be better on the dyno, but I am willing to test them. All the pipe manufacturer's tried to make a better header for the 2011 ZX10R and all failed. The stock header with just a mid cat-eliminator and can made the best power. Please let me know when they will have their's ready. My dyno guy is cheap and loves to play with these kind of things.

The ZX10R header has a tiny bit larger primaries, but about 1.5" longer (again, the primaries) with a mid 4into2into1 setup. The SX has the shorter tubes that just dump 4into1 straight into the pre-cat. That has to be very restrictive and hurt the low/mid range on this bike.

Panels finally arrived, pick them up on Saturday. For the record I ordered them on March 24.

How is the rear spring on your bike? I just cannot get my sag number set correctly. I am at full preload adjustment and am still around 6mm low. I am swapping to a stronger spring today to fix it.

I weigh around 180 and really have not noticed an issue with the factory setting so I have not messed with it.

If you care to, get some help to check your sag. I am 200lbs and was low 16mm below sag numbers. I could make up 10mm with the preload adjuster, but would be dragging ass with loaded bags.

Well, I screwed up on my measurements. I was checking sag with the assumption that the rear wheel has 90mm travel. You try to set sag with you on the bike with feet on the pegs. You should try to be at 1/3 of travel, so 30mm. I was getting 45.5mm. I just looked up that the H2 SX has 139mm travel. 1/3 of 139 is 46.3mm, so I basically there. Glad I rechecked the numbers before I changed the spring.
