Tire Question's and Answers
Well, Spring is just around the bend which means that us northerners will be getting the bikes back together and preparing for another season dodging traffic. Unfortunately, it also means that this forum will soon be inundated with countless threads asking about which tire to buy. I know, we've all done it and I admit to it myself...once. But I wanted to try and head off the masses and let you all know that Sport Rider has a new issue out (Apr. 09)with a rather extensive tire test.

They tested 32 tires (16 pair) on a GSXR600 and the new ZX10R on both the street and the track. Two different riders on two different bikes in two different situations each. The reviews are pretty precise and do a good job of explaining the pros and cons of each tire. And the best part, these guys are pros. So, if they both say a tire is quick handling and responsive, not only do you know you can trust them but you also know that they are pushing the tires as harder than you ever will.
