denting the gas tank

has anyone dented in their gas tank for high chair wheelies?

ive never done it personally but i have seen it done. you have to be really careful not to crease the tank, if you do then the tank is garbage. most of the time you start the main portion of the dent with your feet by jumping up and down on the tank. then move to a smaller dead blow hammer to finish the job. ive read that if you put a thin book on the tank and hit that instead of directly hitting the tank there is less chance on creasing it. then to finish it off cover it with some bondo to fill in imperfections and paint it or spray truck bed liner on it. you could also use skateboard grip tape. if you do happen to get a small hole in the tank you might be able to fix it with some jb weld.
