kawasaki zx9 99 to 00 fairing conversion?

i have a 1999 kawasaki zx9 and i am wanting to put the 2000 dual headlight system on there. does anyone know if it will fit right up or will i have to do some mods to make this possible? i know ill have to get the 00 fairings and head lights.

It is possible. Mine was already converted when i bought it, but there were no modifications at all. The only thing is the gauges won't fit. I have been riding around without mine, but i just learned that you can rewire them to fit the new gauge.

do you know if the headlight bracket is the same as the 99 or is it the 00 model bracket?

I had to take everything off when i got it painted, and i didn't see any modifications. Everything looked as if it was stock.
