Big Bore Kit
just wondering if anyone has had a big bore kit that lasted i heard it was a bad idea....i have a 2000 9r shaved the head 5 thousand full hindle and wow sure woke it up going to jet it next with a filter can i do anything else for more power.........went with a 520 chain and lower the sprockets a tooth much quicker and what about a 240 kit anyone make one????dont want to stretch it to much

high compression pistons..... they work well.
the zx9 is a strong motor as is, throw a turbo on it and you will have a hard time hanging on LOL.
Otherwise purchase a larger bike.
what are you trying to do??? drag?? street?? corners?
dont go the bore kit as there is not enough meat inside to play with

thanks alot for answering me guys i was just going to give up on this site i want to drag it a bit but still be on the street and hiways for the lon ride also just a quicker bike mid 10s is reasonable???????????????

You should already be in the mid to low 10s with what is already done to the bike and factory length. Lower it, strech it and strap the front and you should easily be in the high 9s with some practice.
