front sprocket questions

Hi - my mate wants to drop a tooth on the front sprocket of his 2004 ZX10R - can some one tell me the socket size to fit the nut holding the sprocket on and the direction to turn it to lossen it - dont want to strip it.

Turn anti-clockwise to loosen. I don't know the size for a 10R..probably best to check in that forum.
