Fork swap..

I'm preparing to fit a set of ZX7RR forks to my C2..has anyone else done this mod? If so, are there any strange things I might encounter? Any little tricks or suggestions I should apply while it's all apart?

Hi Gerry...You can't go wrong. It's one of the best all-around bikes ever made..or at least that's my opinion.

I can't believe how many have bailed from that 'other' site.."getting off before the ship goes down" as someone else mentioned.

Anyway, I have to be off...dinner with Ola in a bit.

By the way..try ebay..I've seen a number of really nice 9's there. Personally I favour the C1,C2 &E1 series machines..even though the F bikes are a bit lighter and are claimed to have a few more hp. Whatever, all the 9's are great fun..and there are tons of performance upgrades available...suspension, brake, motor improvements..just about anything you might want

See ya.

Why are you doing this? Performance gains? Are your current forks in need of replacement? Just curious.

The 7RR's are fully adjustable and upside down while the oe 9's are conventional and have just two adjustments..plus the 7's look a lot cooler.

I'm thinking I'll put the 9's forks on the ZZR for now...then a set of 7R'S later in the year. Think how cool that will be, huh Glen...
