Bit of a dodgey problem on startup -BANG!!

hey guys, aint been on here for a while, good to see the community still thriving!



bit of a funny issue i have with my bike at the moment, if i dont use the bike for a day or two, upon starting it up ( with no throttle - just choke open on full ) it emits a really loud BANG!! no good at 7 in the morning!


it must be fuel getting into exahust but i cant figure out how?

i dont ride it hard comnig to the end of my journey??

just as a process of elimination i would suggest riding her hard towards the end of your journey, if that fails this may point you in the right direction

off topic but i think it may need to be serviced


does any one know how much oil i need to put into my bike as im doing a filter and oil change tomorrow


currently have 1 hiflo filter hf204 and 2 litres of castrol gt


will i need mroe oil?

it should take between 3 - 3.2 litres of oil if removing and replacing filter........
