but there is a posting about a new guy with problems with his 99 zx9r and im suffering from the exact same problems. Im new myself.. heres the scenerio... 1st 2nd 3rd demon... 4th 5th 6th will bog down till 80 and makes it my top speed.. spudders and jerks... dont get it... what makes this do this? its been sitting for some time before the new paint and chrome platting.. but now its together and I cant for the life of me figure out why it does this...possible carb problems? mabey ignition? can anyone give me some insight?
can i delete this thread... after doing research from last years post... i found that it has to do with a vacuum ordeal.. so further research i looked for the vacuum lines and sure enough they where not connected... hey, darn those guys who painted my bike and not reconnect them... MY BAD! she screams now... LOL!
