01 Fire Cracker red/ Pearl Purplish Black mica
The Red and black mica on the '01 is my favorite, of course I'm biased. 6 Years later it still looks great.

Arithon, the metalic color you're talking about was originally from the zx12's and was a special order on some 9R's if I'm not mistaken. But I've also seen the same color and it does look nice in the sun.

paint?
hey guys, i have the '02 candy gold spark 9r. thinking of having the belly pan and tail section painted to match the of the bike instead of the black. it should look like the '03 green one in the pics. i love the more complete look of it. what do you all think?

Hi Netma,
What are the names of the colors of your bike? Based on those names I think I can get the proper paint sticks.
Thanks in advance!!

I know this is an old forum, but the 01 green has the candy coat laid on top of the base coat which gives that metallic look, and and different shine in different light, its Beautiful!
